  • Do you charge fees for travel planning?

    No. All our services at Curated Escapes are completely free to you. We never charge planning fees, service charges, or any hidden costs. We're compensated directly by our travel partners when you book through us, allowing us to provide expert planning at no additional cost to you.

  • How do you make money if you don't charge fees?

    We earn commissions directly from hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, and other travel providers when you book through us. These commissions are already built into the travel providers' rates, so you pay the same price (or sometimes less thanks to our special partnerships) as you would booking directly.

  • Do I pay more for travel when booking through Curated Escapes?

    No. The prices you pay are the same as—and sometimes better than—what you'd find booking directly. Our partnerships with travel providers often give us access to exclusive rates, amenities, and upgrades that aren't available to the general public.

  • What travel services do you offer?

    We offer a range of services from simple bookings (Wanderlust Essentials) to comprehensive multi-destination planning (Bespoke Odyssey), group travel coordination (Collective Adventures), and specialized Disney destination planning (Magical Beginnings and Enchanted Journey). All services include personalized support and expert guidance.

  • What destinations do you specialize in?

    I can plan extraordinary travel experiences anywhere in the world. For each destination, I conduct extensive research to ensure you receive the most authentic, memorable experience possible. While I love planning travel globally, I have particular expertise in Europe, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Cruises, and all Disney destinations. As a former Disney Cast Member, I offer insider knowledge for Disney vacations that enhances your experience and maximizes your enjoyment.

  • How do I get started with planning my trip?

  • How far in advance should I contact you?

    For optimal availability, especially during peak travel seasons, we recommend:

    6-12 months for international trips, cruises, and peak-season destinations

    3-6 months for domestic travel

    7-11 months for Disney vacations (to secure preferred dining reservations)

    However, we welcome last-minute bookings and will always do our best to create something special.

  • Do I need to sign a contract?

    For most individual and family bookings, no formal contract is required. We simply ask for your consent to act as your travel advisor. For group bookings (such as destination weddings, corporate retreats, or large family reunions), a contract may be required, but this would be between you and the travel provider directly, not with Curated Escapes. We'll help facilitate this process and explain all terms clearly.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    Payment methods vary by travel provider, but typically include credit cards, debit cards, and sometimes payment plans. All payments go directly to the travel providers, not to Curated Escapes.

  • What happens if I need to cancel or change my trip?

    We'll assist with any changes or cancellations according to the travel provider's policies. We always explain cancellation policies before you make any bookings so you're fully informed.

  • Do you provide travel insurance?

    Yes, we can arrange travel insurance through trusted providers. While never required, we strongly recommend travel insurance for all trips to protect your investment.

  • What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?

    We provide support throughout your journey. If issues arise, contact us immediately and we'll advocate on your behalf with travel providers to find solutions.

  • Do you book flights?

    Yes, we can arrange flights as part of your travel package. However, in some cases, you may find better rates booking directly with airlines. We're happy to advise on the best approach for your specific trip.

  • How do I access my travel documents?

    Once your bookings are confirmed, we provide comprehensive digital travel documents with all your reservation details, contact information, itineraries, and helpful destination tips.

  • Are you a licensed travel agency?

    I am an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, a fully licensed and accredited travel agency. This partnership gives me access to an extensive network of travel partners worldwide while allowing me to provide personalized service as your dedicated travel advisor.
